A NOTE
FROM OUR FOUNDER.

Hi, I’m Georgia.
I’ve rarely been able to look at a brand without wondering what I’d do with it. Even as a kid reading magazines, I was always trying to work out what made someone stop on a page and keep reading.
That curiosity led me to a creative industries degree in media, communications and journalism, and then to five years shaping social media, strategy, marketing and PR.
Working within traditional agency structures, I loved the momentum of the work, but I kept seeing the same pattern: great ideas watered down by slow workflows and endless layers of sign-off. By the time a campaign launched, the moment had usually passed.
So I built Busy Boy to do things differently: closer, faster, and in lockstep with how people actually use social media today.
I’ve never been able to pick just one discipline, and I’ve stopped trying. Social, strategy, creative, shoots, campaigns, talent and partnerships all overlap now, and the best work happens right where they meet. That’s exactly where Busy Boy operates. So you get one person who can see the whole picture.
If you’ve built something you believe in, you know how heavy it feels when people don’t see its value yet. It’s easy to take that personally. But usually, the problem isn’t you or what you’ve built. It’s how the story is being told.
And that’s my favourite part of this work: finding what makes your business worth choosing, then telling that story everywhere people meet you, from your feed to your shoots, campaigns and partnerships. One story, told well, in every place that matters.
I also compete for Australia in springboard diving, which has taught me more about preparation and pressure than any brief.
Your brand deserves to be seen. Let’s make sure it is.
